3G football field for the Haltemprice Leisure Center

The 3G football field will be installed in full size in East Riding Leisure Haltemprice.

The project will cost more than two million pounds, but the east of the Yorkshire Council said it received 360,000 pounds for installation.

Three soccer clubs have cooperated with the council and will be the main users of the new facility.

A spokesman for the council said that the stadium would improve the quality of local sport and enhance physical activity and well -being in general.

The Authority said that the local football facilities plan has set a shortage of the TURF 3G football fields in the Haltemprice area, and that there is a large demand for local clubs.

The East Yorkshire Council said that the contribution of 360,000 pounds came from engraved amounts, which are financial contributions from third parties to pay future maintenance responsibilities.

The authority said, in addition to building the stadium, there will be a parking lot and a change in the entertainment center.

The new stadium will also provide football facilities for disability.

“The investment will provide a reliable surface, ensuring access to the sports facility throughout the year,” said Tim Hicks, director of health and well -being facilities at the council.
