A Shaolin monk looks like an MMA fighter in boxing, it is confused

A so-called master Shaolin looks like an MMA fighter in boxing. He is rolled up

A so-called Shaolin monk measured itself with an MMA fighter. The confrontation took place in the boxing and was (very) uneven.

A kung fu champion wanted to compete with an MMA fighter, but experience was neglected in just 10 seconds. In recent times, another suspected monk Shaolin has made a similar challenge, this time in a struggle of English boxing.

However, the result of the struggle has left no doubt about doubts. From the first exchange, the monk was overwhelmed by his opponent despite its impressive movements. On several occasions, he was under the blows, which also moderately, from MMA fighter. In order to preserve the whole, this unusual demonstration took place in an unlikely environment: the hall of a shopping center, under the curious view of passers -by -by. An opposition that once again emphasized the gap between traditional disciplines and modern martial arts.

Unequal opposition

The MMA fighter exhibits constant pressure, but without difficulty using the many defects in the latter. Most of his blows achieve their goal in view of an clearly experienced opponent, at least in the techniques that are necessary to defend themselves in a foot brand. The Shaolin monk shows an almost non -existent guard and takes over movements that, although they are visually impressive, are missing. His weak ability to collect or accommodate attacks quickly becomes obvious, especially since he often turns his opponent back, a deadly gesture in this kind of duel. All of this gives an impression of obvious inequality and a fight lost in advance. Despite the purely exhibiting aspect of this meeting, it fascinated a large audience that was gathered in the shopping center. The spectators, fascinated by the opposition between combat tradition and modern martial arts, took part in a short but decisive demonstration. After a well -placed left hook, followed by a direct right, the show ends. The visibly outdated monk Shaolin collapses on the ground one last time and thus seals the inevitable result of this atypical duel.

During the One Championship 158, Xie Wei, a former (real) member of a Shaolin Temple, confronted a professional fighter from MMA, Reece McLaren. This time the fight took place in a professional environment. After 4 minutes in the 1st round, Xie Wei lost through the submission.

What do you think about this surprising fight?
